Isuzu Motors Limited (headquartered in Shinagawa Tokyo and headed by Masanori Katayama, President and Representative Director, hereinafter called "Isuzu") has informed that Isuzu N-series, a light-duty truck series, celebrates its 60th anniversary on August 26.

On August 26, 1959, the N-series was born as the first light-duty cab-over truck in its class, based on the concept, "a truck that carries a cargo most efficiently". Since then, it has continued to evolve with the change of the times and customers' needs. The cumulative production volume of the N-series has exceeded 6.5 million units, being marketed in about 140 countries including Japan. The series has won the top share position not only in Japan ^*1 but also in many overseas countries. As the best-selling truck series, the N-series is supporting "people's life" all over the world.

Isuzu will continue to make efforts to support people's life, environment, and production activities.
