Environmental Initiatives

On May 26, 169 volunteers, including employees and their families from Isuzu Fujisawa Plant (Fujisawa City, Kanagawa) and its affiliated companies, participated in the 43rd Gomizero (Zero Trash) Cleanup Campaign - Beach Cleanup Kanagawa 2019 event organized by Fujisawa City, Kanagawa and the Kanagawa Coastal Environmental Foundation.
Having started in 2000, this campaign aims to protect the natural beauty of the beaches at Katase, Kugenuma and Tsujido so that everyone and anyone can enjoy the beach as a place of relaxation and recreation. This year, a total of 4,778 people (87 groups) including residents' associations, the Fujisawa City Living Environment Council, and corporations in Fujisawa City participated, and a total of 1,040 kg of trash was removed, contributing to maintaining the beauty of the beach.
Isuzu sees these activities as not only a way to conserve the regional environment, but also as an opportunity to recognize the pressing issue of plastics in the seas and oceans.

Participating Isuzu Group employees and their families.
Everyone working to make the beach beautiful again.
