Gifts of Christmas Cakes to Foster Homes and other Facilities

Harmony with Local Communities

Isuzu is involved in an ongoing program to donate Christmas cakes as gifts every year to local foster homes and other facilities.
In 2018 as well, we provided gifts of Christmas cakes to local facilities including children's centers, nursery schools, and welfare facilities in the districts of Omori (Headquarters location)*1, Fujisawa, and Tochigi*2.

In Omori district (Headquarters location), a presentation ceremony was held at the Shinagawa Ward Office ahead of Christmas on December 12, where we received words of gratitude and a Letter of Appreciation from Mayor Takeshi Hamano for this initiative, which has been continued by Isuzu for 40 years.

Omori District (Headquarters location) 600 cakes were donated to 117 facilities including children's centers, nursery schools, and welfare facilities in Shinagawa-ward.
Fujisawa District 900 cakes were donated to 176 facilities including foster homes, elderly care facilities, and facilities for the disabled in Fujisawa-city.
Tochigi District 339 cakes were donated to 20 facilities including nursery schools and kindergartens in Tochigi-city.
