SKW is a special purpose truck model, designed mainly for use by Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. It is good at running on tough and rough terrains such as muddy roads which do not allow ordinary trucks to pass through.
One of the outstandingly special applications of SKW is for out-door emergency surgeries. Two units of SKW’s , one for surgery preparations and the other for surgeries, are connected to offer equipments and space wide enough for first-aid treatments and surgeries.
