S.I.  Sales Group No.2 / LCV Business Dept.

An environment where everyone can contribute regardless of age
Tell us about your job?

The LCV Business Department oversees affiliated companies worldwide involved in the development, manufacturing, and sales of pickup trucks and SUVs. I'm in charge of managing the businesses of affiliates in South Africa, which is one of our major bases. Specifically, I manage the progress of business plans and provide support in helping advance various projects.

Why did you choose to work at Isuzu?

When I was growing up overseas as a child, I saw Isuzu's vehicles supporting people's livelihoods in various countries. That experience eventually grew into a strong desire to work for a commercial vehicle manufacturer, and I decided to apply to Isuzu Motors, an industry leader.

What else do you like about Isuzu?

Isuzu is attractive because it offers an environment where all employees are given a chance to deliver results regardless of age, so you can thrive even early in your career. Isuzu also has offices around the world, so there are many opportunities for overseas business trips and assignments. Since I wanted to work internationally, I found this point very attractive.
There is also content-rich training after joining the company in various fields, such as automotive, trade, and finance, providing an environment where you can learn new things and apply it to your work.

When do you feel a sense of job satisfaction? What do you find interesting about your job?

In my current role, I have opportunities to interact with various departments in Thailand, South Africa, and Japan, which is very stimulating. I felt a great sense of accomplishment when local site members and the Japan office work together toward the same goal and succeed. There are no barriers when working between affiliates and divisions, which is an extremely positive characteristic of Isuzu.

Please tell us about your "I Do Declaration."

Each and every employee at Isuzu is working to embrace ISUZU ID and change behavior as part of their own "I Do Declaration."

My I Do Declaration is to "embrace diversity and value the opinions of people around me."
I made this my declaration because I believe valuing the opinions of a wide range of people gives me more options to choose from and leads to the best results.

What actions will you take to be No.1 in one of the four areas outlined in ISUZU ID?

To achieve No.1 in Customer Satisfaction, I will respond to the needs of customers in each region and tackle issues from the customer's perspective.

"Drive to Challenge" is a central theme of ISUZU ID's core value. What does drive to challenge mean to you?

I believe it is important for each employee to have a drive to challenge because it leads to resolving various social issues as a company.
I want to continuously challenge myself to expand possibilities and contribute to my personal growth.
Going forward, to fully understand what is happening in the field, I intend to go and see the actual site with my own eyes, listen directly to the voices of those working at the local site, and work with them to resolve issues.

How has Isuzu changed and how are you trying to change?

Through Viva Engage (an internal social media platform), I feel that there are more opportunities to meet people from various departments. I make it a point to actively communicate with a variety of people to broaden my perspective.

What would you say to someone interested in joining Isuzu?

If you are driven and always ready to take on new challenges, Isuzu is the place for you!
