About ISUZU

Isuzu Brand Management

Isuzu is working on company-wide brand management with the aim of strengthening brand consistency and preventing damage to brand value.

Establishment of guidelines and internal infrastructure

Isuzu has established the ISUZU BRAND IDENTITY SYSTEM (I.BIS), a set of brand guidelines based on our corporate philosophy, ISUZU ID, that clarify the brand’s essence and expression methods. Furthermore, we have created an “Online Brand Center” on our intranet. This center provides brand-related information and tools, responds to inquiries, and introduces a digital asset management system for brand materials. Our goal is to promote company-wide utilization of the center and improve the quality of brand expression. Additionally, to maintain consistent brand image, we developed “Dynamic Flow”, a graphic element symbolizing the Isuzu brand. We are applying it to various creative productions.

Creative Line Reliable Line
Brand graphic “Dynamic Flow”

This graphic is derived from the Isuzu River, from which the company name originates, and the concept of “Reliability x Creativity”. It expresses our vision to continue supporting transportation by advancing the world as an innovation leader with “Reliability x Creativity”

*Reliability Line: A horizontal line expressing unwavering reliability we have built by supporting transport and creating the foundations of society.

*Creativity Line: A flowing line expressing “Moving the World – for You” by boldly and flexibly opening up the future.

System

In an effort to strengthen our brand management system, we have established a brand office within the company and are collaborating closely with communication representatives from each department. We have implemented a procedure requiring prior approval for all communications related to the corporate brand. The secretariat reviews these communications to ensure that they are appropriate and that corporate symbols are used properly.

In addition, we are focusing on instilling brand awareness in the company through e-learning for all employees and workshops for executives. Moving forward, we will expand this brand management system to include group companies in Japan and overseas. Our goal is to establish a globally unified management system that will enhance the brand value of the entire Isuzu Group.
