In recent years, we have identified parts using the Isuzu trademark without authorization and designed to appear like genuine parts (hereinafter “counterfeit parts”). They are being sold through online and physical marketplaces.

While these counterfeit parts may look similar to genuine parts, they do not meet Isuzu’s quality and/or testing criteria and may fall short in safety, durability, and expected performance.

As a result, they may lead to safety-related accidents caused by damage during use and the loss of vehicle uptime. Additionally, they may disrupt vehicle performance during operation and customers’ business activities.

Isuzu places the highest priority on protecting customer safety, stable vehicle uptime, and the original performance of the vehicle. We are tackling counterfeit part issues while communicating information to support customers’ correct selection of parts.

How Isuzu Tackles Counterfeit Parts

At Isuzu, we place the highest priority on ensuring quality and reliability so that customers can use their vehicles with confidence.
As part of these efforts, we continuously take the following actions against counterfeit parts.

• Requests for removal of counterfeit parts identified on the internet
• Measures to suspend imports and exports in cooperation with customs authorities in Japan and overseas
• Cooperation with relevant authorities in counterfeit crackdown activities in the markets

Through these initiatives, we aim to deter the distribution of counterfeit parts and continue our efforts to protect customer safety and stable vehicle uptime.
