Introducing the New Standard in Non-step Busses
The new ERGA is Isuzu’s answer to the question “What should a non-step route bus look like?”. With its expanded non-step area and boosted interior height, the new ERGA bus features a functional, yet spacious interior space. It is also equipped with various features that enhance passenger convenience and vehicle drivability.

新型エルガのために開発したダウンサイジングエンジン。小排気量かつ軽量・コンパクトで、ノンステップエリアの拡大にも貢献します。またポスト新長期排出ガス規制適合、低排出ガス車認定とともに、平成27年度 重量車燃費基準を達成しました。
A downsized engine developed for use in new ERGA models, its low displacement, lightweight, and compact size help in expanding the size of the non-step area. In addition to being compliant with Japan’s “Post New Long-Term Emissions Regulations” and “Low Emission Vehicle Certified”, it also achieved “Fuel Efficiency Standards for Heavy Vehicles” for 2015.

新型エルガのために開発した小型・軽量6速AMT（オートメイテッドマニュアルトランスミッション）。MTをベースとしながらクラッチ操作が不要、クリープによる微速走行を可能にするなど、ゴー・ストップの多い路線バスの特性を考慮。より快適な乗り心地とドライバーの負荷軽減に貢献します。
The MZW6 is a compact and lightweight 6-speed AMT (automated manual transmission) developed for use in the new ERGA. Developed based on a manual transmission, yet not requiring the use of a clutch, the MZW transmission enables the bus to be driven at extremely slow speeds using vehicle creep, a function that is very important for stop-and-go route buses and which contributes to a more comfortable ride for passengers, as well as reductions in driver workload.
