  For "D-CORE" Series, with an eye to achieving both "environmental performance" and "economic performance", Isuzu integrated and realized simultaneously "optimal combustion technology", "aftertreatment technology" and "electronic control technology". In doing so, we increased the engine power and torque per displacement (liter) to the highest possible level while pursued a lightweight and compact engine. As a result, we successfully improved required engine performance - fuel consumption and weight - across the board.
  The increase of environmental performance of the engine itself and minimization of burden to after- treatment system are critical for meeting next environmental regulation that calls for emissions whose contaminant quantity is similar to that in the air. Isuzu displays "next-generation urea SCR" to demonstrate our research results to date. We intend to develop practical environmental technology from global standpoint in keeping with engine development.
  Going forward, more stringent emission regulations will take effect in Europe, North America and Japan.
