Corrections Regarding Inaccuracy in Some Press Reporting Dated November 8, 2006

In regard to the captioned matter, please be advised that there is a discrepancy between the contents of explanations made in a joint announcement held yesterday by and between Isuzu Motors Limited and Toyota Motor Corporation and the contents of some press reporting. We at Isuzu would like to issue a correction concerning the inaccuracy in the press reporting, as follows: Your confirmation and understanding will be highly appreciated.

Note
1.
This matter does not mean that Isuzu will become a member of the Toyota Group, but it merely means that the two parties have mutually agreed to make a study on a possible business collaboration regarding diesel engine.
2.
A relationship with Hino Motors, Ltd. remains unchanged. It is absolutely unfounded and untrue that Isuzu has begun to negotiate with Hino for a new business collaboration.
3.
Manufacturing J/V companies with GM (ISPOL/DMAX) remains unchanged. Isuzu does not have any plan to terminate these J/V's. It is absolutely unfounded and untrue that Toyota may take part in these JV businesses or take over the shares of the JV's owned by GM.
