Isuzu Provides Support for Sumatra Earthquake and Indian Ocean Tsunami Relief Efforts
Isuzu Motors Limited and its overseas affiliates have decided to contribute additional 30 million yen to Japanese Red Cross Society to support disaster relief in areas affected by the severe earthquake off the coast of Sumatra and the subsequent giant tsunamis in the Indian Ocean.
This contribution is preceded by a 4 million baht (approximately 11 million yen) donation pledged to the aid organization RAJAPRACHANUGROU FOUNDATION by our local subsidiaries and affiliates, distributors, dealers, etc. on December 30, 2004, bringing the Group's total donation amount to about 41 million yen.
Additional support measures are being considered.
