Participation in "With Second-hand Books! Children's Forest Project Support"

November, 2015

In order to "educate and raise awareness about social contributions" among employees, Isuzu began to participate in "With Second-hand Books! Children's Forest Project Support" in the area around Isuzu headquarters (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) from November 2015.

"With Second-hand Books! Children's Forest Project Support"

The "Children's Forest" Project is a program through which children plant and raise trees at their school and in their region, implemented by the NGO OISCA. It helps children to "value and love nature."
The proceeds from the donated books are contributed to the "Children's Forest" Project.

Isuzu initiatives

Isuzu supports the "Children's Forest" Project by having its employees collect and donate old books that they no longer read. There are plans to expand this to other Isuzu offices as well (Fujisawa and Tochigi Area).
