Internal Events and Other Support for Disaster Areas

When Isuzu holds internal events, Isuzu uses products from organizations engaged in recovery efforts in disaster areas in order to offer our support to these areas.

Efforts to keep alive memories of the Great East Japan Earthquake

Used local sake from disaster struck areas at the “2015 Isuzu World Conference” (November,2015)

The “2015 Isuzu World Conference,” which brings foreign Isuzu distributors together under one roof, was held in Tokyo on November 5th and 6th.
Local sake from disaster areas by the Great East Japan Earthquake (Fukushima, Iwate, etc.) was used in a Kagami-biraki (sake cask-opening) ceremony by distributors that had become Isuzu’s new global partners. It was a lively and exciting event.

  • Participants prayed for their health and growth at the Kagami-biraki ceremony.
The sake from northeastern Japan was delicious, and people’s desire for recovery from the disaster could be felt tangibly.
